1. Creation of Awareness on Nutri Sensitive Agriculture among farming community through capacity development and different level of interfaces

2. Promotion of Bio-fortified crop varieties for Nutritional Security among farm women and Children.

3. Promotion of Nutri Garden, Nutri Thaali, and Nutri Villages.

4. Promoting Nutri Sensitive innovative practices and value chain development

About the Event:

The event was hosted by Pi Zonunkimi Ralte, SMS (Home Sc.), I/c Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Hnahthial where Pu Vanlalmawia, MCS, Deputy Commissioner, Hnahthial District was the Chief Guest. A talk on Nutri Garden by Pi Zosangliani Varte, SMS (Horticulture) and Talk on Importance of 

Fruits & vegetables in daily diet by Pi Zonunkimi Ralte, SMS (Home Sc.) and short speech was also given by  Mrs. Lalremthangi, Child Development Project Officer, ICDS,  Hnahthial District  was given. 32 Anganwadi Workers, 23 farm women i.e. a total of 55 trainees took part in this event.
