Objective of the event: Field Day on Rice Variety Maniphou-1

About the event: A Field Day was organized at South Vanlaiphai village along with the WRC progressive farmers and Scientists of KVK, Lunglei. The farmers' were impressed seeing the performance of variety. The specific characters, duration, and yield attributing parameters were study and interact with the farmers'. Feed back from the farmers' were noted and assessment will be done in the successive years for horizontal spread of the variety.
