Venue: Community Hall, Rawpui Village (Selected Village for Doubling Farmers Income 2022).

Objective of the event: To increase the productivity consciousness across all the sectors viz. Agriculture, Horticulture, animal Sector and Children of the District.

About the event: National Productivity Week was organized during 12-18th Feb, 2019. KVK Lunglei inaugrated National Productivity Week at Rawpui village, which is the village selected for Doubling Farmers Income. It was inaugrated by the Village Council President with eminent personnel and KVK Lunglei Staffs. The various programmes held were: 1)Training and awareness on important diseases of Piggery and its Management to increase Livestock Production. 2) Training and Awareness on Importance of Soil Testing for increase in productivity in field crops. 3) Essay Writing on "Increasing Productivity in Agricultural Crops". 4) Drawing Competition on different tools and implements required for Agriculture Production.
