About the event:  World veterinary day 2018 was organised by KVK Lunglei in linkage with A.H and Veterinary Department, Hnahthial, Lunglei District. Mizoram. It was held at Zofa run, Lungleng, Hnahthial. Sri Lalramliana, MSC , SDO(C) was invited as the chief guest for the function. The programme was divided into 2 session. The 1st session was chaired by Dr. Lalmuanzovi, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK . This is followed by technical report on the recent diseases outbreak by Dr. C. Sanghluna. VO, AH & Vety Dept. After this, awareness training on the topic " Recent disease outbreak of Pig in Mizoram" was given by Dr. C. Lalremruata, Scientist (Animal Sc), KVK. 

After lunch break, 2nd session was stated with animal health camp cum free anti rabies vaccination.

Vitamins, minerals supplements etc were distributed to farmers. Total 120 farmers were able to attend the programme.
